Episode 32: The Curse of Inferno (1997)

This week Lindsay brings our most obscure movie yet. Did you know Pauly Shore starred in a down-to-earth small-town crime dramedy that premiered on The Movie Channel? We love Pauly Shore, but had many criticisms of this. He’s one of two unfunny Garths without a Wayne. Ned Beatty is a fun Old West tycoon. And there’s a LOT of slide guitar.

Episode 28: Captain America (1990)

The 1994 Fantastic Four went over so well that Darrill has now brought a slightly less half-assed Marvel outing. Hear about the Captain’s sneaky carjacking trick, Ronny Cox’s utopian environmental agenda, the Red Skull’s Spring Breakers-style piano castle, his classy Nazi babe henchmen, the world’s worst newspaper montage, and the awful music of Southside Johnny. Only in America! and Italy

Episode 22: The Unholy (1988)

The second fan-submitted movie we watched is from Spencer. The Unholy is a tale of demons, priests, madness, New Orleans, more priests, temptation, archbishops, sexy saxophone music, crazy puppet monsters, bad canine actors, and the dad from Boy Meets World with bleached blond hair and a cajun Mike Tyson accent. We liked it! (some of us liked it)
